Troubleshooting Plan of Care (POC) Generation

Situation

 

Why didn't my Plan of Care (POC) generate automatically? The most common reason is that no insurance was assigned during Patient Intake.


Steps to Resolve

  • Go to the Patient Intake and ensure insurance information is assigned
  • Once insurance is added, return to the OASIS-E1 Start of Care Assessment
  • Re-save the OASIS assessment to trigger the Plan of Care creation. This should generate the Plan of Care automatically.
